Country Manager (full-time) for QUIZDOM

JOB DESCRIPTION
You will lead a small team, which will be responsible for our app in one target country or language.

As such, you will:
• Oversee the behavior of your target users (how should our game be adjusted or extended to increase the life-time of our users?)
• Drive user growth (which marketing activities will have the most success?)
• Advise and direct the creation of questions (what is fun and interesting for your users?)
• Drive monetization of the apps (standard ads, in-app products, direct deals, cooperations with partners)

Reporting to the General Manager of the Quizdom Brand,your team will include a marketing professional and a question editor. In addition to driving success of your locale, you will also be responsible to hire, train and help those individuals to perform to their potential.

Initially, you may work remotely, but ultimately you will work from our office in Regensburg (Germany). Relocation assistance offered for the right candidate.


REQUIREMENTS
For your personal and professional success, you will need:
• An ambitious work-attitude; get-things-done mentality; setting your own goals and delivering with minimal supervision.
• A proven track record of success, ranking among the best at whatever you chose to do (your grades at university, your performance at work or some other hobby).
• To have lived at least 3 years in the UK.
• At least 1 year work experience in a role where you were responsible for an online-product, it’s marketing and a small team - examples of products: app, website, blog, newsletter (or similar experience).
• Ability to quickly analyze data and draw the correct conclusions from it.

Depending on your experience & skills, as well as whether you join us in a part-time or full-time role, you will assume responsibility of some or all of the above tasks. As such, you will:
• Brainstorm and create new question categories a strategies and new sources of questions.
• Correct and review existing questions according to user feedback.
• Correct and adjust questions from users to ensure they can be used in our game.
• Manage and support the community of users who create questions.
• Prioritize questions, according to quality or game needs.

At the beginning, you can work remotely. Ultimately you will work from our offices in Regensburg, Germany.


REQUIREMENTS

You will work to define and deepen our understanding of player segments to encourage loyalty and monetization.

 

Tasks & Responsibilities including:
• Working with the Data Analyst to create innovative retention solutions.
• Identifying/measuring systems/solutions maximizing retention & overall player satisfaction.
• Manage in-game content schedule including promotions, limited-time events, new content releases, update announcements.
• Work with our Buzz Manager to communicate with users via, Social Media, email & push notifications, about special events & promotions.
